The climate has changed. Choose change before change chooses you.

The last decade has forced a blunt realization on advertising leaders.

The advertising climate has changed.

Pretending otherwise is a strategic gamble. Linear TV once behaved like a reliable season with predictable ratings cycles, spot rates that held up, and disruption that felt temporary. Today’s reality is a new climate: device-first viewing, ad avoidance tools, fractured attention, and buyers who demand measurable outcomes.

Treating this as a passing storm to ride out by simply cutting costs and automating workflows will accelerate decline rather than preserve relevance. You can't cut your way into growth.

Choose to act. Identify, understand, and admit what you can't change, then focus on the things that you can. A pragmatic response starts with finding clarity in the key levers that are within your organization's control. This is where outside help is most valuable. External advisors don’t exist to sell turnkey technology solutions. Effective advisors exist to provide focus and shrink uncertainty. They map the perimeter of change and help lead an organization through it.

Change management is not a comfort exercise. It’s disciplined work.

Choose the work. Align leadership on a new value proposition, retrain sellers to pitch outcomes instead of programming, redesign pricing models, and create new workflows. The needed tech can then be designed and deployed.  Without this human-centered work, a great solution will sit on the shelf while the sales team defaults to old habits. The difference between incremental cost-cutting and strategic reinvestment is often the presence of an experienced guide who knows how to translate market insights into human, operational and technological change.

This is climate change. It's not the weekend weather report. It's time to assess and run a disciplined organization change management program to future-proof your business.

Choose to start now.
